Forestry Interventions in Tanzania

The success of Better Globe Forestry in Kenya and Uganda has been great, as many lives and landscapes have been transformed. Now, Better Globe Forestry is progressing its work to Tanzania, and hopes to plant Melia volkensii (mukau) and Melia azedarach (Persian Lilac) there in the future. A trip by Executive Director of Forestry, Jan Vandenabeele, was well received by locals from Mafinga to Dar es Salaam. The Executive Director even had the privilege of attending a forestry trade fair in Mafinga (the first of its kind). Forestry players expressed support for Better Globe Forestry’s work in Tanzania, now all that’s left is to keep moving forward!
